Language of the Discipline

The different types of words and definitions from this book:

Consequence–something produced by a cause or necessarily following from a set of conditions. 

Motivated— provided with a motive: having an incentive or a strong desire to do well or succeed in some pursuit.

Characteristic—  a distinguishing trait, quality, or property. 

Relevance relation to the matter at hand.

General-Purpose  suitable to be used for two or more basic purposes. 

Significant  having meaning;having or likely to have influence or effect : important.

Trait  a distinguishing quality (as of personal character).

Type—  a particular kind, class, or group.

Important— marked by or indicative of significant worth or consequence : valuable in content or relationship.

Influence— the power or capacity of causing an effect in indirect or intangible ways.

Reason— a rational ground or motive.
